 There was a millionaire who was highly disturbed

by severe pain in his eyes.

He consulted so many physicians and was getting his treatment
done. He did not stop consulting galaxy of medical experts; he
consumed heavy loads of drugs and underwent hundreds of injections. But the ache persisted with great vigour than before.

 

At last a monk who was supposed to be an expert in treating such patients was called for by the millionaire.

The monk understood his problem and said that

for sometime he should concentrate only on

green colours

“And not to fall his eyes on any other colours.”

 

This is the only remedy.

The millionaire got together a group of painters and purchased
barrels of green colour and directed that every object

his eye was likely to fall to be painted in green colour just
as the monk had directed.

When the monk came to visit him after few days, the
millionaire’s servants ran with buckets of green paints and poured on him since he was in red dress, lest their master not see any other colour and his eye ache would come back.

 

Hearing this monk laughed said

"If only you had purchased

A pair of Green Spectacles:,

...worth just a few rupees,

You could have saved these walls and trees and pots and all other articles and also could have saved a large share of his fortune.

You cannot paint the world green."

Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly.

It is foolish to shape the world,

Let us shape ourselves first.
Let us change our VISION !!

 When Life Throws Dirt on You

 

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hour as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

 

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help.  They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

 

The donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

 

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, He was astonished at what he saw.

 

With each shovel of dirt that hit his back the donkey was doing something amazing.

 

He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off. 

 

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.

 

The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and 

take a step up.

 

Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out

 of the deepest wells, just by not stopping, never giving 

up. Shake it off and take a step up.
