CHANGE YOUR VISION... YOU WILL BE CHANGED

There was a millionaire who was highly disturbed

by severe pain in his eyes.

He consulted so many physicians and was getting his treatment
done. He did not stop consulting galaxy of medical experts; he
consumed heavy loads of drugs and underwent hundreds of injections. But the ache persisted with great vigour than before.

At last a monk who was supposed to be an expert in treating such patients was called for by the millionaire.

The monk understood his problem and said that

for sometime he should concentrate only on

green colours

“And not to fall his eyes on any other colours.”

This is the only remedy.

The millionaire got together a group of painters and purchased
barrels of green colour
and directed that every object

his eye was likely to fall to be painted in green colour just
as the monk had directed.

When the monk came to visit him after few days, the
millionaire’s servants ran with
buckets of green paints and poured on him since he was in red dress, lest their master not see any other colour and his eye ache would come back.

Hearing this monk laughed said

"If only you had purchased

A pair of Green Spectacles:,

...worth just a few rupees,

You could have saved these walls and trees and pots and all other articles and also could have saved a large share of his fortune.

You cannot paint the world green."

Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly.

It is foolish to shape the world,

Let us shape ourselves first.
Let us change our VISION !!

When Life Throws Dirt on You

When Life Throws Dirt on You

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hour as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help.  They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

The donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, He was astonished at what he saw.

With each shovel of dirt that hit his back the donkey was doing something amazing.

He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off.

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.

The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and

take a step up.

Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out

of the deepest wells, just by not stopping, never giving

up. Shake it off and take a step up.

WAQT NAHI

Think over n  Lets bring back the smiles .....

" WAQT NAHI "

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein,
Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.

Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein,
Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Maa Ki Loree Ka Ehsaas To Hai,
Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.
Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke,
Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain,
Par Dosti Ke Lye Waqt Nahi.
Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen,
Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee,
Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.
Dil Hai Ghamon Se Bhara Hua,
Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude,
Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein,
Jab Apane Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi,
Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga,
Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko,
Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.......

"Always keep smiling and be happy.
Life is too small to complain."

BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A SOLUTION

 Finding THE COMMON GROUND

before COMING TO ANY SOLUTION

IS THE ONLY WAY to Solve any Problem

A father left 17 camels, as the inheritance for his three sons.

When the father passed away, his sons opened up the

will.

The Will stated that THE ELDEST SON SHOULD GET

HALF of 17 camels while

THE MIDDLE SON SHOULD BE GIVEN

1/3RD (ONE-THIRD)

&

THE YOUNGEST SON SHOULD BE GIVEN

1/9TH (ONE-NINTH) of the 17 camels.

As it is not possible to divide 17 into half or 17 by 3 or 17 by 9,

the three sons started to quarrel with each other.

So, the three sons decided to go to a wise woman.

The wise woman listened patiently about the Will.

The wise young woman, after giving some thought, brought one camel of her own and added the same to 17. That increased the total to 18 camels.

Now, she started reading the deceased father’s will.

Half of 18 = 9.

So she gave the eldest son 9 camels

1/3rd of 18 = 6.

So she gave the middle son 6 camels

1/9th of 18 = 2.

So she gave the youngest son 2 camels.

Now add this up: 9 plus 6 plus 2 is 17,

and this left one camel, which the wise woman took away.

LEARNING 1

The attitude of negotiation and problem solving is :

To find the 18th camel, i.e. the COMMON GROUND.

Once a person is able to find the 18th camel,

that is the COMMON GROUND...

...ANY ISSUE GETS RESOLVED.

It is difficult at times to find the COMMON GROUND.

But the spirit is this only

LEARNING 2

To reach any solution of any problem….

First step is to believe

that there is a solution.

Otherwise there won’t be any!

EVERY ROSE HAS A THORN

Nobody is PERFECT in this World

A man and his girlfriend got married in a large celebration.

All of their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony.

The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was very dashing in his black suit.

Everyone could tell that the love they had for each other was true.

A few months later, the wife comes to the husband with a proposal:

"I read in a magazine, a while ago, about

“How can we strengthen our marriage" she offered.

Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying with the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them together and make our lives happier together."

The husband agreed, so each of them went to a separate room in the house and thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.

The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go over their lists
. "I'll start," offered the wife. She took out her list.

It had many items on it enough to fill 3 pages, in fact. As she started reading the list of the little annoyancesshe noticed that tears were starting to appear in her husband’s eyes. "What's wrong?"She asked.

"Nothing" the husband replied, "keep reading your lists."

The wife continued to read until she had read all three pages to her husband. She neatly placed her list on the table and folded her hands over top of it.

"Now, you read your list and then we'll talk about the things on both of our lists." She said happily.

 Quietly the husband stated,

"I don't have anything on my list. I think that you are perfect the way that you are. I don't want you to change anything for me. You are lovely and wonderful and I wouldn't want to try and change anything about you."

The wife, touched by his honesty and the depth of his love for her and his acceptance of her, turned her head and wept.

LEARNING 1

In life, there are enough times when we are disappointed, depressed and annoyed. We don't really have to go looking for them. We have a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise.

Why waste time in this world looking for the bad, disappointing or annoying when we can look around us, and see the amazing things before us?

LEARNING 2

WE ARE HAPPIER WHEN WE SEE & PRAISE

THE GOOD AND TRY OUR BEST TO FORGET THE BAD.

LEARNING 3

Always Remember:

Nobody's PERFECT but we can find PERFECTNESS in every one if we change the way we see them.

ENCOURAGE EVERYONE

 ENCOURAGE EVERYONE

“TO STRUGGLE IN HIS LIFE”

A business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly an old man appeared before him. "I can see that something is troubling you," he said. After listening to the executive's woes, the old man said, "I believe I can help you." He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, "Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time." Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.

The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!

"I can erase my money worries in an instant!" he realized. Nonetheless, the executive decided to put the check in his safe first. Just knowing it was there, would give him the strength to work out away to save his business, he thought.

With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and got extended terms of payment from creditors. Soon he could close some big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.

Exactly a year later, he returned to the park with that uncashed check. The old man did not appear for some time yet the business executive decided to wait for a while more.

A while later, the old man came along the way but seemed to be unaware of the business executive. He stopped the old man and was about the hand over the cheque with a few words of thanks as well as share his success story.

At the same time, he saw a nurse come running up and grabbing the old man. "I'm so glad I caught him!" she cried. "I hope he hasn't been bothering you. He's always escaping from the rest home and telling people he's John D. Rockefeller." And she led the old man away by the arm.

The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he'd been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him. Suddenly, he realized that it wasn't the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his new found self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.

LEARNING 1

He understood that Confidence is nothing but the distant vision held positively no matter what comes in between.

LEARNING 2

This Confidence comes from one's

own commitment and dedication and entirely internal.

RESPOND or REACT

 Are We Learning To Respond

or Are we Learning To  React?

One of the very important aspects of our LIFE DEVELOPMENT is..

Are we Learning to Respond or

Learning to React towards any untoward situation?

On this VERY MUCH NEEDED LIFE LEARNING

Let me share this learning with a beautiful Cockroach Story…..

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady

She started screaming out of fear. With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.

Lady’s reaction was so contagious,

that everyone in her group also got panicky.
Finally the lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...cockroach landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue. In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering,

Was it the cockroach responsible

for their exaggerated behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?
He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies.

LEARNING 1

Now I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem,

it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

LEARNING 2

I have now understood that in LIFE,

I SHOULD NOT REACT IN LIFE.
I SHOULD ALWAYS RESPOND
.

The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

Reactions are always instinctive

Whereas responses are always well thought of, just and right to save a situation from going out of hands…

….To avoid cracks in relationship,

….To avoid taking decisions in anger, anxiety, stress or hurry.
